About Palosanto
Some workshops are factories. Ours is a workbench.
Every Palosanto tool is handmade in Korea by a single maker. Each blade is cut, shaped, fitted, and sharpened by the same pair of hands, from first cut to final edge.
The blades are HSS-M2 high-speed steel, chosen to hold an edge through long sessions at the bench. The handles are premium hardwoods — lignum vitae, ebony, bubinga, wenge, African blackwood, and amboyna burl — each piece selected for its grain and feel.
Every tool is made to order. It ships in about three days. And if the edge ever dulls, we will resharpen it free of charge, for life — you just cover the shipping both ways.
A tool should disappear into your work. This is how we make that happen.
